Badruka College of Commerce down Dr BR Ambedkar to emerge OU tug-of-war champs

Badruka College of Commerce won the Osmania University Inter-College Tug-of-War Championships for Men at the Osmania University’s University College of Physical Education on Wednesday.

Badruka College scored a 2-1 victory over Dr B R Ambedkar College. Shailesh, Charan, Subham and Nehal played well for Badruka even as Sidhu, Srihari starred for Dr B R Ambedkar College.

The third place was secured by University College of Physical Education who defeated Govt Degree College, Ibrahimpatnam, with a 2-1 verdict.

Prof Rajesh Kumar, dean, faculty of education, Osmania University, was the chief guest and distributed the prizes. Prof B Sunil Kumar, principal, UCPE, and Prof K Deepla, director of PE, were the guests of honour.
