Azam, Shahnawaz, Aizah and Amrya ride to glory at the Hyderabad Horse Show

Young equestrians Mir Najamuddin Azam and Mohammed Aamir Shahnawaz delivered outstanding performances at the Hyderabad Horse Show by securing top honours in their respective showjumping categories.

Representing Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy, Mir Najamuddin Azam rode Beliz Pong to victory in the prestigious 105–110 cm Open Showjumping competition. He also secured second place with Rikotta in the 105–110 cm Under-14 category and two further second-place finishes with Sana in the 60 cm Under-14 and Open competitions.

Mohammed Aamir Shahnawaz, riding Darcy, of Covai Stables, claimed first place in the 80–90 cm Under-14 Showjumping competition.

Aizah Mir also produced an impressive performance for Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy, winning the 105–110 cm Under-14 competition aboard Quibelle. She additionally secured third place in the 80–90 cm Open category and fourth place in two other competitions.

Another standout performer was Amyra Kancharla, who won the Hacks Under-14, Dressage Trot Under-10 and Dressage Trot Open competitions aboard Dubai Skyline, in addition to securing second place in Hacks Under-10.

The day witnessed enthusiastic participation from leading equestrian clubs and academies, with 155 participants competing across the various events.
