Avinash hits a brace to help Bison FC gore Bolarum FC in one-day football tourney

A brace from Avinash helped Bison Football Club thrash Bolarum Football Club 3-0 in the final of the One-day Prize Money 7-A-Side Football Tournament at Bolarum Cantonment Garden in Secunderabad on Thursday.

Abhijeet scored one goal for the winners, who brooked no challenge from their rivals.

Bison Football Club were richer by Rs 15,000, while Bolarum Football Club had to be content with Rs 10,000.

The tournament was sponsored by Dr Narsimhan Kannan. As Dr Narsimhan Kannan was preoccupied with another event, Narender Poosa represented him as chief guest.

Victor Amalraj, former India football team captain, and Ravi Kumar, CI of Bolarum Police Station, were the guests of honour.

The tournament was conducted by Garden Football Club on the occasion of Ugadi. 19 teams from Secunderabad Cantonment took part in the tournament.

The occasion turned out to be a memorable one for all football lovers in Secunderabad Cantonment.
