Chamari Athapaththu will continue to lead the 15-member Sri Lanka squad for their upcoming three-match ODI series against Pakistan.
The Asian side returns to action following good returns at the recently-concluded ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, where they finished third in Group B, missing out on the last four spot on run rate to West Indies.
Sri Lanka currently sit third in the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29 table with eight points from six matches.
Chamari Athapaththu, who starred with the bat at the T20 World Cup campaign, will lead the side again.
Nilakshika Silva, who had an impressive campaign with the bat, has been retained alongside an experienced core group of players from the tournament, including Vishmi Gunaratne, Hasini Perera, Dewmi Vihanga and Inoka Ranaweera.
A notable absentee is the 19-year-old Mithali Ayodhya, who impressed with her sling action, racking up four wickets at the tournament.
