Army Public School (Golconda) boys and Chinmaya Vidyalaya girls reign supreme
Army Public School, Golconda, boys and Chinmaya Vidyalaya girls reigned supreme in the handball competitions of the 70th SGFI’s Inter-School district-level sports competitions at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad.
In the Under-17 boys’ category, Army Public School scored a 6-2 win over TMRIES Cantonment, Secunderabad. The third place was grabbed by St Patrick’s High School, who thrashed Hyderabad Public School (Ramanthapur) 5-0.
Army Public School boys make it a golden double
Army Public School boys made it a golden double by winning the Under-14 title too. In the final, Army Public School hammered TMRIES (Sheikpet) 9-0. Chinamaya Vidyalaya boys claimed the third spot with a comfortable 6-1 win over Springfield School.

In the girls’ section, it was Chinmaya Vidyalaya all the way. The Under-17 girls overcame a fighting TGSWRES (Mahendra Hills) 4-3. Girls High School Ameerpet won the third place as they defeated MJPTBC (Chandrayangutta).

In the Under-14 category, Chinmaya Vidyalaya had to fight past MJPTBC (Khairtabad) in a 2-1 to claim the title. Hyderabad Public School (Ramanthapur) took the third place with a resounding 3-0 win over MJPTBC Secunderabad.
