D Arjun Mahadeve and A Shreyas slammed centuries to set up Gowtham World School’s (Saroornagar) 196-run win over St Mark’s Boys Town High School (Jahanuma) in the HCA’s U-14 Inter-school and districts tournament.
Batting first, Gowtham World school ran up a huge 404 for four in their 50 overs. D Arjun Mahadev remained unbeaten on 125 off 88 balls with 20 hits to the fence. A Shreyas made a 77-ball 115 with 14 hits to the fence and three over it.
Facing such a daunting task, St Mark’s, in reply, perished for 212 despite Rakesh Sekhar making 90.
Chetan Aditya’s century helped Gowtham Model School (Ameerpet) score a narrow 21-run victory over Delhi Public School (Nacharam). Aditya made 108 in Gowtham Model School’s 279 for six. Delhi Public School, in reply, made 258.
P Anirudh Goud struck a century to help Academic Heights Public School (Badangpet) score a 198-run victory over The Future Kids School (Rajendranagar).
Anirudh made a 74-ball 110 with the help of 18 fours and two sixes. The Future Kids could manage 151 in reply as Anirudh took three for 26.

Sportive, Ensconse, Nalgonda post victories in B Division T20 knockouts
In the HCA’s B Division T20 league-cum-knock-out tournament, Abhishek Murugan scored an unbeaten half-century to steer Sportive to a five-wicket win over Charminar.
Batting first, Charminar made 137 for seven with Vaibhav Chary scoring an unbeaten 57. In reply, Sportive made 141 for five with Murugan remaining not out on 65 and E Nihar Reddy making 59.
In another match, Keshav Upadhyay scored a half-century to help Ensconse post a convincing seven-wicket win over MP Blues.
MP Blues made 171 for four with H Dasarath scoring 51 and Syed Hidayath H Wali making 48. Ensconse replied with 172 for three as Keshav made 55. Imran Khan scored 42 and Abhyudaya Pratap Singh remained not out on 33.
Elsewhere, Nalgonda scored a seven-wicket win over Mahbubnagar District with Adi Manikiran scoring 68 and G Prakash Reddy remaining unbeaten on 40.
B Division T20: Mahbubnagar District 122/6 in 20 overs lost to Nalgonda District 123/3 in 13.3 overs (Adi Manikiran 68, G Prakash Reddy 40no).
