The Hyderabad Open, India’s premier amateur golf championship conceived by the TGolf Foundation and hosted at the prestigious Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club, kicked off with a grand crystal Trophy launch and opening ceremony on Wednesday at the 19th Hole. The trophy is engraved with Hyderabad’s iconic monuments like Buddha statue, and Charminar.
The event drew over 300 golfers from across India, marking a significant milestone in nurturing amateur golf talent nationwide. The Hyderabad Open promises thrilling competition and a platform for emerging golfers to shine, reinforcing Hyderabad’s position as a hub for golf excellence.
Dr NRN Reddy, president & CEO of TGolf Foundation, unveiled a custom-made glass trophy, symbolizing excellence in the sport.
In his address, Dr. Reddy emphasized, “At TGolf Foundation, we are proud to conceptualize, nurture, hone, and execute golf tournaments to encourage all formats of golf in Hyderabad and beyond. The Hyderabad Open is one such avenue to inspire amateur golf talent across India to compete, show their mettle, and excel in their sport.”
