Vaishaali bags gold, Chinhas and Revanth win bronze at 2nd Asian Juniors Soft Tennis
Andhra Pradesh sportspersons, including A S Vaishaali, bagged three medals at the 2nd Asian Juniors Soft Tennis Championship in Ludhiana, Punjab. The tournament was held from February 3 to 8.
AS Vaishaali of Andhra Pradesh and Mahek of Gujarat won a gold medal in the Under-15 girls’ doubles event. In the Under-15 boys’ doubles, PV Chinhas of Andhra Pradesh and Rohin Raj of Uttar Pradesh won the bronze medal and in the Under-18 boys’ doubles event, M Revanth of Andhra Pradesh and Raj of Uttar Pradesh claimed the bronze.

The players called on Animini Ravi Naidu, chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Sports Authority (SAP), at the SAP headquarters in Vijayawada on Monday. Ravi Naidu felicitated the players with shawls and praised them for winning the medals.
He expressed the hope that they would achieve more victories at the international level in the future and enhance the state’s prestige. Andhra Pradesh Soft Tennis Association chairman Daram Naveen Kumar, the players’ parents, and others participated in the program.
