SFR Snehit will be taking part in the ITTF-ATTU Asia Cup to be held in Wuyuanhe Gymnasium of Hakiou City of Hainan province in China from February 4 to 8. Snehit, who has been having a great run on the domestic circuit in the recent past, is all geared up to give his best as the tournament will have 32 top ranking players in the world.
The competition is bound to be of very high standards and Snehit feels it’s a chance to not only test his skills against the best but also to learn from his higher ranked opponents. For the Hyderabadi, playing in China, the mecca of table tennis, is an opportunity of a lifetime. The paddler has been preparing intensely for the tournament along with his coach Somanath Ghosh.

“It is a great opportunity to play against the best players in the world. My first match would be against the World No.2 on Day One of the tournament and I am going to give my best,” Snehit said.
The Hyderabad-based paddler is currently India No.7 and is among the top 100 players in the world. Snehit will play singles in the tournament along with 32 top ranking players across the world. In the group stages, Snehit is going to play against World No.2 Lin Shidon (China), World No.77 Kuo Guan-Hong (Taiwan), and World No.221 Abndulaziz Bu Shulaybi (Saudi Arabia). Top two players from each group will quality for the main draw of 16 players.
