P Kashyap missed out on a double century by five runs, but his effort helped Adilabad record a 60-run win over Warangal in the HCA’s Under-16 boys’ district one-day tournament on Sunday.
Batting first, Adilabad ran up a huge 337 for seven thanks to P Kashyap’s 195 which came off 158 balls and contained 31 fours. He was ably supported by Saif Bin Sohail who made 63.
In reply, Warangal fought well with Oni Sukumar leading the onslaught. He made 91 and U Ashwith scored 45 but Warangal could reach only 277.

Medak 239 in 49.1 overs (P Harshdeep 33, Md Rehmath 64, C Balaji Sai Sriram 40) beat Khammam 218 in 46 overs (N Ritvik 46, P Dhruva 65, KVS Charan 41).
