Aryan, Mokshith, Akshaj smash centuries; Surya, Anas, Mujtaba perform well with ball

Aryan Singh and Mokshith Janu scored centuries while Surya T bagged five wickets to help Sungrace score a 161-run over SN Group in the HCA’s C Division (one-day) league championship.

Aaryan Singh

Batting first, Sungrace made 336 for seven with Aryan Singh scoring 131 off 89 balls with 19 fours and three sixes and Mokshith Janu getting 101 off 91 balls with 13 fours. In reply, SN Group were bowled out for 175 with Surya T taking five for 46.

Akshaj Goud made 141 off 138 balls with 14 fours to set up Rushiraj’s 59-run win over Heeradhi. Rushiraj made 299 for five and bowled out Heeradhi for 240.

Mokshith Jannu

Mohd Anas took six for 35 too bowl HCA District-1 to a 77-run win over Starlets.

FK Mujtaba bagged five for 21 as Southern Stars scored a 94-run win over ML Jaisimha. Moses Paul took four for 38 for ML Jaisimha.

Andhra down Team B, Team C beat Team D

Team C scored a 54-run win over Team D in the Senior Men’s T20 Super League. Batting first, Team C made 186 for six and then restricted Team D to 132.

In another match, Andhra scored an 81-run win over Team B. Andhra made 220 for six and then restricted Team B to 139 for eight.

Kushant, Tej, Harsh, Anirudh, Rakesh shine

M Kushant Neil Varma, Tej Charan C and Harsh Gandhra struck centuries but Team D were unable to reach Team F score even as their match ended in a draw in the HCA Under-16 Super League on Saturday.

Batting first, Team F had made 520 in 154.3 overs with Naren Koka bagging five for 97.

In reply, Team D reached 429 for three with Kushant making 125 off 279 balls with 17 fours and Tej Charan C scoring 124 off 199 balls with 23 fours. Harsh Gandra made an unbeaten 122 off 177 balls with 18 fours and two sixes.

The final day’s play was washed out in the games between Team B and Team C and Team E and Team A.

V Anirudh Naik

Team B had scored 329 and 139 for three while Team C had made 263 despite V Anirudh Naik getting a 96-ball 128 with 16 fours and six sixes.

Rakesh Shekar scored an unbeaten 102 off 181 balls with 15 fours as Team A had replied with 232 for three at stumps on the second day. Ritesh Reddy was batting on 49. Earlier, Team E had ran up a huge 540.
