HPRC Tigers and HPRC Artists completed unbeaten pool campaigns on Saturday evening and will contest the final of the HPRC Arena Polo Tournament 2026, presented by Inhabit – The Inside Story, at the HPRC Arena on Sunday.

With Friday’s play lost to rain, all four remaining pool matches were played on Saturday, shortened to two chukkers of five minutes each, in a programme that ran from 6 to 8 pm under lights.

Warriors 3 – 1 Chargers (Pool A)

Saif Attari, who had scored all seven Warriors goals on the opening night, carried his side again. Level at 1–1 after the first chukker, Attari and Siddharth Mukerjee trading goals, Warriors took the second 2–0 through two more from Attari to open the evening with a win and keep their Pool A hopes alive.

Top scorer: Saif Attari (Warriors), 3 goals. One in the first chukker, two in the second — and still the only Warriors player to have scored in the tournament.

Devils 5 – 5 Titans (Pool B)

The match of the evening. Shahbaz for Devils and Arun Jupally for Titans each scored twice in each chukker, Sri and Naresh added one apiece in the first, and neither side could be separated: 3–3 at the break, 2–2 in the second, 5–5 at the end. Under the tournament’s extra-time rule the two sides shared the points, which left Pool B to be decided by the final match of the night.

Top scorer: Shahbaz (Devils) and Arun Jupally (Titans), 4 goals each. Both scored twice in each chukker and cancelled each other out from first throw-in to last.

Tigers 4 – 2 Chargers (Pool A)

Chaitania Kumar scored twice in each chukker as Tigers won both periods 2–1 to secure Pool A and a place in the Final. Siddharth Mukerjee scored both Chargers goals, taking his tally to three on the night, as Chargers finished the pool stage without a win despite competitive showings in both games.

Top scorer: Chaitania Kumar (Tigers), 4 goals. Two in each chukker, every Tigers goal of the match, and seven for the tournament.

Titans 6 – 9 Artists (Pool B)

Artists needed a win to take Pool B outright and got it, though Titans made them work. Arun Jupally scored three in each chukker — six in the match and ten on the evening — but Artists had scorers across the team: Shehzad Khan with four, Arsalan Khan three and Vedanth Lohia two. Artists edged the first chukker 4–3 and the second 5–3 to finish the pool stage with two wins from two.

Top scorer: Arun Jupally (Titans), 6 goals — three in each chukker and ten on the evening, the highest single-match tally of the tournament. Shehzad Khan’s four led Artists.

The final at 6.30 pm

HPRC Tigers (Chaitania Kumar, Vishal Singh, Arjun Reddy) meet HPRC Artists (Arsalan Khan, Vedanth Lohia, Shehzad Khan) over four chukkers at the HPRC Arena, followed by the prize distribution with Saif ur Rehman as Master of Ceremonies. Surya Bahadur umpires; Asu Singh is the official scorer.
