Jyothi Krishna struck a century to steer Postal to a seven-wicket win over Gouds XI in the HCA’s B Division (one-day) league-cum-knock-out tournament in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Batting first, Gouds XI were bowled out for 210 with Jyothi Krishna bagging three for 24. In reply, Postal reached 211 for three as Jyothi Krishna scored 117 with 19 fours and four sixes.

In another match, N Nitesh Naik took five for 12 and Arush Ainchwar got four for 21 to set up Mahmood’s nine-wicket win over Rakesh XI.

In the A Division (one-day) tournament, EMCC claimed a walk over against Union Bank of India as the full team was not present.

In the C Division (one-day) league, JLN Mehar Prasad took six for 11 to set up Sunshine’s eight-wicket win over Yadav Dairy

Niranjan J hit a century and Sri Charan Yadav took six wickets to help Lucky XI score a 115-run win over Vijaypuri Willowmen. Batting first, Lucky XI ran up a huge 324 for eight with Niranjan scoring an unbeaten 106 off 119 balls with 11 fours and three sixes.

In reply, Vijaypuri Willowmen could reach 209 despite Sunny Kumar Bhagat getting an unbeaten 112 off 71 balls with 22 fours. Sri Charan Yadav took six for 54 to fashion a Lucky win.

P Dheeraj Reddy took five for 15 but Ranga Reddy District lost to Secunderabad Gymkhana by one run.
