Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy successfully concluded a landmark 10-day celebration of equestrian sport, bringing together the Hyderabad Horse Show 2026, the EFI National Qualifier for JNEC 2026 and the Telangana Showjumping Championship at its premises in Hyderabad.
The three major events attracted approximately 450 riders and culminated in the presentation of 120 medals, making it one of the most extensive equestrian programmes hosted in the city.
The festival witnessed outstanding displays of skill, determination and sportsmanship from riders representing leading equestrian clubs and academies. Competitions ranged from introductory 45 cm classes for young riders to the demanding 115–120 cm Open category.
The concluding event, the Telangana Showjumping Championship, was conducted on September 19 & 20, 2026. It recorded 198 participants and 52 prize-winning performances across 13 categories. Among the championship’s standout performers was Mohammed Hasham, who partnered Kanye Kang to win both the 115–120 cm Open and 105–110 cm Open competitions.
Nasr Polo’s Azam on top
Nasr Polo’s Mir Najamuddin Azam delivered an exceptional performance on home ground, winning the 60 cm Under-14 and 60 cm Open titles with Sana, before claiming another victory in the 105–110 cm Under-14 category with Rikotta. Mir Najamuddin Azam also secured two second-place finishes and a fourth-place finish.
Samyukta Vanapalli and Captain completed a remarkable double by winning both the 100 cm Under-14 and 100 cm Open competitions. Nasr Polo rider Aizah Mir also recorded five placings across different categories. Aizah was outstanding on the day.

The success of the 10-day programme reflected the collective efforts of the riders, horses, parents, coaches, officials, veterinarians, jury members, grooms, participating clubs and support teams. Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy expressed its appreciation to everyone whose participation and cooperation contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of all three events.
