Shabbir Ali graces The Gaudium School’s National Sports Day celebrations
The Gaudium School celebrated National Sports Day on their campus on August 27, 2026, with great zeal and enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand.
The highlight of the programme was the felicitation ceremony where the sports achievers and dedicated coaches of the school were recognized and honoured for their outstanding achievements and contribution to sports.
On this occasion, Shabbir Ali, Dhyan Chand awardee and former captain of the Indian football team, attended as the chief guest. Arjuna awardee and Asian skating champion Anup Kumar Yadav was the guest of honour.
The celebrations also had The Gaudium School founder director Kirthi Reddy, CEO Ramakrishna Reddy, head of school Sudeshna Chatterjee and Dr Thomas, head of sports, in attendance.
