Suhas swims to personal best on way to gold, Nithya wins 2 medals, Annika bags a bronze

Suhas Preetham Mylari produced his personal best on way to winning a gold medal in the 100m backstroke at the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championship 2026, held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Telangana’s swimmers delivered an impressive performance by securing four medals, 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Suhas Preetham Mylari, who produced a remarkable performance in the 100m Backstroke, won the gold medal while also recording a new personal best. His outstanding performance reflects his hard work, determination and continued progress at the national level.

Sri Nitya Sagi won a silver and a bronze medal

Sri Nithya Sagi won a silver medal in the 400m Individual Medley and a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke event.

Annika Deborah won a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle event.

The three swimmers showcased the growing strength, talent and potential of Telangana swimming on the national stage.
