The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) on Monday announced the women’s open selection trials and men’s districts talent hunt/open selection trials for the 2026–27 Season.
The trials are being conducted to provide talented and aspiring cricketers an opportunity to register and participate in the selection process.
Registration details and deadline
Interested and eligible players can register through the respective online registration links. The registration links for the women and men trials are available on the official HCA websites: www.hycricket.org, www.hycricket.in

Players have been requested to visit the above websites and access the respective registration link for the relevant category. Registration has started on August 17, 2026, and will end on August 21 at 11:59 pm.
Players are advised to complete their registration within the stipulated period. Registrations submitted after the deadline may not be considered, says the HCA release.
Registration process
Players have to follow the registration process carefully:
Visit the official HCA website and select the relevant registration link.
Read all the information provided on the first page of the registration portal.
Click on “Click Here to Read Terms & Conditions Before Registering Online” and carefully read the Terms & Conditions.
After reading the Terms & Conditions, click on “I have read the Terms & Conditions and I concur with them.”
Complete the online application form by providing all the required details and submit the registration.
Players are requested to ensure that all information provided in the application form is complete, accurate and correct before submitting their registration.
Eligibility criteria
Age eligibility: Only players born on or after 1st September 1990, and on or before 31st August 2014, shall be eligible to participate.
Players who have already registered for the HCA A Division, B Division, or C Division Leagues for the 2026–27 season, or who have already registered for or participated in the Talent Hunt/Open Selection Trials held at Gymkhana Ground, Hyderabad, during May 2026, will not be eligible to participate in the men’s districts open selection trials for the 2026–27 season.
Based on the district selected by each player, the venue, date, and time of the trials will be communicated to the respective players through email or SMS.
The Hyderabad Cricket Association encourages all eligible men’s and women’s cricketers to make use of this opportunity and participate in the respective selection trials.
