HCA’s senior umpire Shaik Azeemuddin passes away at 63 years of age

Shaik Azeemuddin, a senior umpire with the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), passed away on Tuesday in Hyderabad.

Azeemuddin about 63 years old and have been suffering with a kidney ailment. He was put on dialysis last week. Azeemuddin is survived by his wife and two sons.

Azeemuddin had been appointed in the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) on sports quota (cricket).

He has been umpiring in the local leagues for the last 25 years and was well-known in the cricketing circles.

Umpires and other cricket officials condoled the death of Azeemuddin. “His dedication, integrity, and contribution to the game will always be remembered. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength and comfort during this difficult time,” said an umpire.
