The Sports Authority of Telangana (SATG) convened a planning meeting to chart out the season of the Young Telangana Football League. The meeting saw participation from up to 10 football private academies and clubs across Hyderabad.

The session featured extensive brainstorming on how to organize the league more effectively, expand its reach, and maximize its benefit to young footballers across Telangana and create a sustainable football ecosystem.

Two pilot editions of the Young Telangana Football League were successfully held earlier this year, in January and June by placing scouting teams supported by AIFF. Building on this experience, the state now plans to organize a season of the league, catering to different age groups across both boys’ and girls’ categories.

The meeting was attended by Dr Sonibala Devi, vice chairman and managing director of SATG along with AIFF technical director Syed Shabir Pasha and partner organisation Sports Paddock founder Prithvi, who expertise in operation and football ecosystem development is commendable.

SATG officials, coaches and representatives from various participating clubs were also present in the meeting.
