Telangana teen Eeshithva impresses on the range, aims to shoot her way into Indian team

Eeshithva SK Telu is shooting her way to the top while building an impressive portfolio. The 14-year-old Eeshithva, who is a Class X student at the prestigious Hyderabad Public School (HPS) Begumpet, is turning heads with her exceptional achievements on the shooting range.

Eeshithva won gold medals at the CISCE Regionals (2023) and CISCE Zonals (2025). She secured a bronze medal at the Telangana State Rifle/Pistol Championship (2023) and went on to qualify for the pre-nationals, 16th South Zone Championship, and the 68th National Shooting Championship (2025). Her outstanding performance at the Nationals earned her a place in the Team India Trials, where she further qualified for Trials 5 & 6.

Continuing her medal-winning streak this year, she won a bronze medal at the 2nd CM’s Cup Shooting Championship 2026 with a score of 388/400, followed by two silver medals at the XII Telangana State Rifle/Pistol Championship 2026, scoring an impressive 393/400.

Eeshithva is an allrounder

An all-rounder, Eeshithva also represented Telangana at the NCC Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) 2025 in New Delhi and proudly holds the rank of sergeant (SGT).

Born into a middle-class family in Nalgonda, Eeshithva is the daughter of a private school teacher and an artist. Her dedication and perseverance have earned her recognition at the state, zonal, and national levels.

With unwavering determination and consistent excellence, Eeshithva is emerging as one of Telangana’s brightest young shooting talents, inspiring many while pursuing her dream of representing India on the international stage.
