Skykings FC win Under-14 title in Skykings Bluecubs Baby League

Skykings FC won the Under-14 years title in the Skykings Bluecubs Baby League Season 7. They finished ahead of SCA and Tatva Global School. The Under-12 title was claimed by Tightend FC. They were followed by SCA and Skykings FC.

In the Under-10 years age category, Soccer Coaching Academy took the honours. BBFS and Tightend FC were second and third respectively. BBFS, however, had the satisfaction of winning the Under-8 category. Skykings and SCA were placed behind BBFS.

Gowtham Reddy powers Crescent High School to victory

B Gowtham Reddy’s all-round show powers Crescent High School to a thumping 10-wicket victory over Suchitra Academy International School in the HCA’s U-14 Inter-school knock-out tournament.

Batting first, Suchitra were restricted to 224 with Gowtham Reddy bagging four for 39. S Aarush  topscored for Suchitra with 68.

In reply, Crescent openers Gowtham Reddy and Aarush Saxena steered the side to 225 without being separated. Gowtham scored 122 off 142 balls with 23 fours and Aarush made 63.

Brief scores: Suchitra Academy International School 224 in 46.1 overs (Mayank pujari 47, S Aarush 68, Pranav Sachith 44, Kamidi Nandish 3/23, B Gowtham Reddy 4/39) lost to Crescent High School (Baba Nagar) 225/0 in 42 overs (B Gowtham Reddy 122no, Aarush Saxena 63no).

Women’s U-15 selection matches: Team B 118/6 in 35 overs (Sonia 36) lost to Team F 119/1 in 22.2 overs (B Deepshika 50). Team C 159/9 in 35 overs (Bhavishya 50) bt Team E 118/6 in 35 overs (M Akshaya Laxmi 51). Team G 149/5 in 35 overs (K Deekshaja 36, Aisha Shaik 50) bt Team A 147/8 in 35 overs (N Shruthika 36, Vemula Jenishka 36).
