Sreenidi Deccan FC eye strong home finish against Aizawl FC in Indian Football League

In their penultimate home game of the Indian Football League phase 1, Sreenidi Deccan FC will host Aizawl FC at the Deccan Arena in Hyderabad on Sunday. The match is scheduled to commence at 6:30 pm.

In their previous game of the league, the Deccan Warriors played out a goalless draw at home against Shillong Lajong FC, whereas the visitors lost 4-2 away to Gokulam Kerala FC in their last fixture.

Speaking ahead of the game, head coach Carlos Vaz Pinto stated, “Aizawl FC are a team who have scored the most goals so far in the league. In this league, we feel that all the games present their unique challenges, and tomorrow against Aizawl FC will be another competitive game.”

Forward Fabrice Kah, who currently leads the goalscoring tally for the Deccan Warriors, added, “As a team, we have been trying to push ourselves to get better across all departments. Tomorrow’s game is an important game, and we are confident in ourselves to win and get the three points.”
